Jet Stream Canopies

Jet Stream Canopies

Overview

The Jet Stream Canopy is one of our most popular exhaust canopies in the range as it offers the flexibility of wall mounting (A), single (E) or double island (D) arrangements.

The core difference between the Vianen Jet Stream Canopy and the Jet Stream 90 is that the Jet Stream uses untreated supply air whereas the Jet Stream 90 uses treated supply air.

Benefits

  • Reduces exhaust fume emissions into the kitchen atmosphere
  • Allows for a flexible design
  • Adjustable ABS spot coolers for kitchen staff

Construction

The Jet Stream Canopy is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel and can be manufactured in sheets of up to 4m. Metal edgings are flattened and rolled out smooth to be free of projections or sharp edges. The lower edge of the canopy forms into a condensation collection channel to simplify the cleaning and maintenance regime.

The Vianen Jet Stream Canopy is fitted with Vianen’s own Fecon® Filters.  These filters provide an extremely high level of filtration with the efficiency rating being recorded at 95%. The Fecon® Filters are easily removable allowing for an easy cleaning process.

Supply Air

The supply air for the Jet Stream Canopy is taken from the ceiling cavity or ducted in from the main kitchen area to the factory-fitted spigots on the top of the canopy. From there, the air passes into the insulated plenum and out through a collection of slots into the main canopy area.
