Application

VIANEN Fecon Filters are used in all Vianen canopies, except for those equipped with the Water Wash systems.
The filters are designed by Vianen to extract grease from cooking vapours in commercial kitchen ventilation systems. Because of the centrifugal force in the filter the highest grade of grease extraction is created with an efficiency of 95%. The grease collects in the lower part of the filter preventing clogging and maintaining an even extraction over the entire length of the ventilation system.

Fabrication

VIANEN Fecon Filters are constructed from stainless steel type 304. The 36 mm thick filter is constructed without any rivet button and has two integrated handles formed from the surrounding frame. On the top and bottom the filter is 10% open for a good stream out of grease and moist. The easy removable Fecon filters are resistant to aggressive detergents and can be washed in any commercial dishwasher. The filter is flame resistant so that in case of a flash fire it will not penetrate the filter.

Fecon-UV Filter

For canopies equipped with the V-UV-C system (Ultra Violet System) a special Fecon-UV Filter has to be used. This 40 mm thick filter consists of a Fecon Filter but additional has on the back multiple crosswise stacked layers of stainless steel mesh metal with a UV-C light reflecting covering.

Description

The VIANEN V-ITL Light Fittings are especially designed for use in the Vianen Ventilated Ceilings and canopies in commercial kitchens. The V-ITL is available in a water tightness of IP 54 or IP 65.

Fabrication

The VIANEN V-ITL Light Fittings are fabricated with a light housing from white powder coated aluminum (IP54) or white powder coated steel (IP 65). The light framework is jointless and manufactured from 1,5 mm. stainless steel, (type 304, 320 gritt) and is sealed to the housing with a cellular neoprene gasket. The standard diffuser is 4 mm. toughened, heat and impact resistant “Crepi” glass, polished on underside for ease of cleaning. The diffuser is sealed to the diffuser frame by a cellular neoprene gasket and the diffuser frame is complete with safety chains fixed to the main frame to facilitate periodic maintenance. Standard electrical supply is 230 V, 50 HZ. All units are pre-wired and complete with 1500 mm. length of electrical cable. On special request we can connect the V-ITL to an electrical box.
