Flat Ceilings

A flat ceiling is the perfect solution where no direct exhaust is required.

Overview

The flat ceiling design can be used to allow supply air into the kitchen area. This is dependent on the kitchen layout and the amounts of supply air required. Stainless steel perforated panels or supply grills can achieve this.

Benefits

  • No direct exhaust required
  • Low on maintenance costs
  • Hygienic and durable

Construction

Vianen’s Flat Ceiling Ventilation is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel that is 10mm thick, with 320 grit panels. The lighting contained within the exhaust ceiling is continued throughout the flat ceiling design to make one seamless, aesthetic solution.

Supply Air through Perforated Panels

The supply air panels are also made from AISI 304 stainless steel panels. The insulated supply plenum is galvanised and spigots are located above the perforated panels. An air distribution plate is used with the plenum to evenly distribute air across the entire supply area. The air is a low-velocity to ensure a comfortable kitchen environment for staff.
